Petrolab was founded in 1987 by Jan G. Bon who had acquired some 25 years of oil industry experience of which 18 were in Reservoir Fluid (PVT) Analyses. The company slowly took over a large portion of the major market share in Australia and has expanded into South America by establishing Petrolab Venezuela S.A. in Maracaibo, Venezuela. We also have had operational bases in Bolivia and Malaysia and perform on-site sampling, transfer and analyses services in many other foreign locations.
With an expanding crew of varied technical backgrounds, which includes a second generation of Bon family members, Petrolab has always strived to ensure we remain a flexible service company that continues to challenge itself to develop further.
The company focus has always been on top quality PVT analysis and sampling of reservoir fluids and to provide our services in a timely manner, at a fair price, and with strong technical support. The services provided have expanded to include oil-field chemistry, on-site analyses and flow assurance testing.
